show config

Purpose

Used to display the current or saved version of the configuration

settings of the Switch.

Syntax

show config [current_config | modified | config_in_nvram

config_id <value 1-2> {[begin | include | exclude] <string 80>

{<string 80>} {<string 80>}}

Description

The show config command is used to display all the configuration

settings that are saved to NV RAM or display the configuration

settings as they are currently configured. Use the keyboard to list

settings one line at a time (Enter), one page at a time

(Space) or

view all (a).

Parameters

current_config – To specify the current configuration to be displayed.

modified –

Specifies to display only the commands which are not

from the ‘reset’ default setting.

config_in_nvram – Specifies to display the configuration from naram.

config_id <value 1-2> – Specifies to display the configuration from

nvram.

begin – The first line that contains the specified filter string will be

the first line of the output.

include – Includes lines that contain the specified filter string.

exclude – Excludes lines that contain the specified filter string.

<string 80> - To specify a filter string enclosed by the quotation mark

symbol.

Restrictions Only Administrator -level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# show config config_in_nvram config_id 1

Command: show config config_in_nvram config_id 1
