Example usage:

To configure SSH algorithm:

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# config ssh algorithm 3DES enable

Command: config ssh algorithm 3DES enable

Success.

config ssh authmode

Purpose To configure the SSH authentication mode setting.

Syntax

config ssh authmode [publickey | hostbased | password]

[enable | disable]

Description

The config ssh authmode command configures the SSH

authentication mode for users attempting to access the Switch.

Parameters

publickey [enable | disable] – Specifies that a publickey configuration

set on a SSH server is to be used for authentication.

Enables or disables SSH authentication on the Switch.

Restrictions Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To enable the SSH authentication mode:

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# config ssh authmode password enable

Command: config ssh authmode password enable

Success.

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5#

show ssh authmode

Purpose To display the SSH authentication mode setting.

Syntax

show ssh authmode

Description

The show ssh authmode command displays the current SSH

authentication set on the Switch.

Parameters None.

Restrictions None.
