the remote host, specified above, to be enabled and disabled.
Restrictions Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure a syslog host:
DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# config syslog host 1 severity all facility local0
Command: config syslog host 1 severity all facility local0
Success.

delete syslog host
Purpose To remove a previously configured syslog host from the Switch.
Syntax
delete syslog host [<index 1-4> | all]
Description
The delete syslog host command removes a previously configured
syslog host from the Switch.
Parameters
<index 1-4> The syslog host index id
. There are four available
indices, numbered 1 to 4.
all − Specifies that the command applies to all hosts.
Restrictions Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To delete a previously configured syslog host:
DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# delete syslog host all
Command: delete syslog host all
Success.
DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5#
show syslog host
Purpose To display the syslog hosts currently configured on the Switch.
Syntax
show syslog host {<index 1-4>}
Description
The show syslog host command displays the syslog hosts that are
currently configured on the Switch.
Parameters
<index 1-4>
The syslog host index id. There are four available
indices, numbered 1 to 4.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To show Syslog host information:
DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# show syslog host
