scheduling_mechanism : Strict Priority

config [dscp | tos] mode

Purpose To enable setting the DSCP or ToS mode on the Switch.

Syntax

config [dscp | tos] mode

Description

The config [dscp | tos] mode command enables the DSCP or ToS

mode on the Switch.

Parameters None.

Restrictions None.

Example usage:

To enable the DSCP mode:

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# config dscp mode

Command: config dscp mode

DSCP mode success.

Success.

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5#

config dscp_mapping

Purpose To enable setting the DSCP User Priority.

Syntax

config dscp_mapping dscp_value <value 0-63> class <priority

0-7>

Description

The config dscp_mapping command enables mapping the DSCP

value (the priority) to a specific queue (the class_id).

Parameters

<value 0-63> –The selected value of

priority. The value may be

between 0 and 63.

<priority 0-7> – The class_id (queue) mapped to the priority. The

value may be between 0 and 7.

Restrictions Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To configure the DSCP mapping with value 10 and class 1:

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# config dscp_mapping dscp_value 10 class 1

Command: config dscp_mapping dscp_value 10 class 1
