4.3.2 Block data structure

A) Information block

(1) Header: STX code( 02H )

The Header indicates that it is the beginning of a Data block .

(2) Status: (Refer to the section 4.4)

(3) Byte counter/line

The [Byte Counter/ line] indicates the number of bytes of the

image data per line in the main scanning direction.

(4) Line counter

The Line Counter indicates the number of the line of the image

data per color.

Note1: The Block data structure is available when executing the ‘set line

counter’ command. (Ref. [ESC d])

Note2: Color line sequence:

If ‘n’ line of the color data is included in a Data block,

the Line Counter indicates ‘3*n’ .

Note3: The Bytes Counter/line and the Line Counter consist of 2 bytes,

and the lower bytes precedes the higher bytes.

Note4: The [byte counter /line] and the [Line counter] should be checked,

before receiving data.

B) Data

Data is an image data block.

Color data order: Refer to [ESC C]
