Down load Dither pattern
(1) Code: ESC b
ASCII: ESC b i jd(j^2)
decimal: 27,98 i
hexadecimal: 1B,62 i
(2) Function Down loads the threshold values of the dither pattern.2patterns can be
set to the scanner, and the parameter “i” indicates their identity.
i=0:Pattern A, i=1:Pattern B
The parameter “j” has the value of 4,8,
or 16,and it indicates the number of the
pixel for a side of the square which is
a basic element of the dither pattern.
The data followed “j” are the threshold
values which shall be arranged in the
square for Dither pattern.
The data is arranged in the order shown Fig.1.
Therefor the number of the threshold data
should be j^2.
For example when j=4 then 16,when j=8 then 64 and when j=16 then 256.
The threshold data should be a value from 0 to 255, because the value of
an image data is in a range from 0 to 255.
For example, in the case of a spiral pattern of 4*4 square shown in Fig-2(a).
The threshold value is corresponded to that in the Fig2-(b) respectively.

(3) Handshaking
1) ESC b code
2) ACK( 06H )
3) i + j(2 byte)
4)d(j^2)
Note1:The down loaded pattern can be selected by ESC B C0H or D0H.
Note2:The default data is the same as the resident Dither mode A.
