4.5 Notes for SCSI
Data block sent by Scanner consists of two parts which are an information block and data. The
information block include a Byte-counter word which indicates the length(bytes) of the data block.
In the case of SCSI , since a data length should be set in the CDB (Command Descriptor Block)
field by an initiator(HOST), the information block and the data are sent separately.
The initiator(HOST) receives the information block and detects the bytes length of the data, then it
receives the data.
1) ESC G code etc.
2) Information block (4 or 6 bytes)
3) Data
