Table 28 Rim Runout 4 Assembly Standard Axial Radial under 04 in 1 mm under 04 in 1 mm Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly Service Limit 12 in 3 mm 08 in 2 mm NOTE 1 When mounting the rear wheel align th wheels and adjust the chain at the same time w the chain adjusters Wheel alignment is accom plished by making the right and left chain adjust marks coincide with the alignment marks on th swing arm See page 98 2 Be sure the torque link is firmly fastened the brake panel 3 Tightening torque for the front axle Is 51 65 ft lbs 7 0 9 0 kg M and tightening torqu for the rear axle is 72 101 ft lbs 10 14 kg M 4 Ensure that the brakes arc adjusted prope as outlined in the next section 5 Ensure that the spokes are tightened w 17 35 in lbs 0 2 0 4 kg M of torque d Wheel Balance Wheels out of balance will vibrate and cause handlebar oscillation The balance is checked with the wheel mounted and in the case of the rear wheel with the chain removed Spin the wheel lightly and see if it will stop in any position of its own accord If it will not attach a balance weight to the lightest side and spin the wheel again Repeat the process as necessary until the difference between the lightest and heaviest side is less han 1 3 ounce 10 grams Then attach the weights firmly with pliers Balance weights arc available in 10 20 and 30 gm sizes 1 3 2 3 and 1 oz 4 HUBS BRAKES SPROCKET J Construction a Front Hub The front hub includes the brake drum a brake mechanism the brake panel brake shoe etc A bearing is pressed into either side of t brake drum and on the inner surface of the dru is cast a steel sleeve which serves as the braki surface for the brake shoes The speedometer ge and pinion are mounted on the inside of the bra pane and these transmit the rotation of the fro wheel to the speedometer via the speedome cable Table 29 Front Hub Model Gear Box Hub Right S1 S1A S1B SIC KH250 A5 S2 S2A 6302Z 6302 S3 S3A 6302 302 OJ324806 6203 203 PJA304208 KH250 B1 Hub Left Grease Seal Hub Right WOC556807 WTC254208 Bearing Hub Left WTC2S4208 PJA254O08
