Symptom Possible Cause Action
When switching to
an HD audio/
video computer,
there is no display
on the monitor.
Graphics card is
DVI-I (Digital and
Analog).
Adjust the graphics card settings to digital
only.
Replace graphics card with DVI-D or HD
audio/video graphics card.
When switching
ports, the monitor
does not display.
Monitor is new or
this is the first
time installation.
Switch ports again and wait two or more
seconds for the monitor’s EDID to pass to the
PC.
The monitor’s
EDID has not
passed through to
the PC when
switching ports.
Use the [d] hotkey to invoke Video DynaSync
one more time or switch to another PC to
reconnect the CM0264. See HSM Summary
Table, page 33.
Gaming keyboard
connected to USB
2.0 peripheral port
does not not work
properly.
KVM hotkeys are
not supported.
Toggle the Keyboard Emulation hotkey [N] off
and on again. See Mouse Emulation Control,
page 31. Keyboard emulation must be
enabled to use all the keyboard’s special keys.
Cannot find
CubiQ software
The USB
connection needs
to be reset.
Disconnect the USB cables and reconnect
them.
The GUI
connection
window stalls /
does not connect
The CM0264
needs to be reset.
Perform a KVM reset or reinstall the latest
CM0264 software on all your computers (see
