Whenever
any
component of the
cooling system
is removed, inspect
the
hose(s) and determine
if
replacement is necessary.
COOLANT
PIPES AND
HOSES
Refer
to
Figure
3
(Magna)
or
Figure
4
(Interceptor).
Whenever
any of the coolant
pipes
and
fittings
are
removed for
service
procedures,
the O-ring
seals
(Figure
32) should be
inspected
and
replaced
as
necessary.
O-ring
seals tend
to
harden
after
prolonged
use and
exposure to
heat and therefore
lose
their abality
to seal
properly.
