CHAPTER 16
System Remote Management
This chapter shows you how to determine which services/protocols can access which
NWA3000-N Series AP zones (if any) from which computers.
" To allow the NWA3000-N Series AP to be accessed from a specified computer
using a service, make sure you do not have a service control rule or to-
NWA3000-N Series AP rule to block that traffic.
16.1 System Timeout
There is a lease timeout for administrators. The NWA3000-N Series AP automatically logs
you out if the management session remains idle for longer than this timeout period. The
management session does not time out when a statistics screen is polling.
Each user is also forced to log in the NWA3000-N Series AP for authentication again when the
reauthentication time expires.
16.2 HTTP/HTTPS Commands
The following table describes the commands available for HTTP/HTTPS. You must use the
configure terminal command to enter the configuration mode before you can use these
commands.

[no] ip http authentication auth_method Sets an authentication method used by the
HTTP/HTTPS server. The
no command resets
the authentication method used by the HTTP/
HTTPS server to the factory default (
default).
auth_method: The name of the authentication
method. You may use 1-31 alphanumeric
characters, underscores(_), or dashes (-), but the
first character cannot be a number. This value is
case-sensitive.
[no] ip http port <1..65535> Sets the HTTP service port number. The
no
command resets the HTTP service port number
to the factory default (80).
