3 Go to MONITOR > Wireless > AP Information > AP List and the ZyXEL AP is listed. A green
question mark displays in the Status column since the AP is not yet managed by the ZyWALL/USG.
Select the listed AP and click Add to Mgnt AP List on the upper bar.

4 Go to CONFIGURATION > Object > AP Profile > SSID > SSID List to configure a name to
identify the SSID.

5 Go to CONFIGURATION > Object > AP Profile > SSID > Security List to select the Security
Mode to be the wpa2. Then, set a Pre-Shared Key (8-63 characters) and select the Cipher Type
to be the auto to have ZyWALL/USG automatically chooses the best available cipher based on the
cipher currently in use by the wireless network. Click OK.
