The fence is fitted with adjustable
fence halves
(50) which can be locked
in place by means of a lock screw (51).
For bevel cuts the fence halves must
be moved apart and locked in place.
Hole for padlock
The hole (52) provided in the ON/OFF
switch can be used for blocking the
switch with a padlock.
4.1 Installation
For safe working the machine must be
securely fastened to a sturdy support.
This support may be a firmly at-
tached plywood sheet or a work-
bench.
The ideal height of the base is
800
mm.
The saw must remain stable, even
when large workpieces are being
cut.
Long workpieces must additionally
be supported using suitable acces-
sories.
3 Note:
For mobile use the machine can be
screwed to a plywood sheet or wood
core plywood sheet (500 mm x
500
mm, minimum thickness of
19 mm). When the machine is being
used the sheet must be attached to a
workbench with G-clamps.
1. Firmly bolt machine to the support.
2. Release transport lock:
Press sawhead down lightly and
hold. Pull transport locking pin (54)
out of deep groove (53), rotate 90°
and engage with flat groove (55).
3. Let the sawhead swing up slowly.
4. Keep the packaging materials for la-
ter use or discard in an environme-
tally-oriented manner.
4.2 Installing the table exten-
sion
1. Remove the right table side extensi-
on (56) (small surface) from the
transport packaging.
2. Press and hold down the locking
button (57).
3. Slide the guide rails completely into
the fixtures.
4. Release the locking button.
The right table side extension is lok-
ked in place in the minimum width.
5. Carry out the analogous steps 1 to
3 to install the left table side exten-
sion.
Setting the desired table width
The table side extension can be locked
in four different positions. To move the
table side extension from one preset
stop to the next:
1. Press and hold down the locking
button.
2. Slide the table side extension ap-
prox. 5 mm inwards/outwards.
3. Release the locking button.
4. Slowly slide the table side extension
further inwards/outwards until it
snaps into the next preset stop posi
-
tion.
4.3 Transport
1. Swing sawhead down and engage
transport locking pin
(54) with deep
groove (53).
2. Dismount all add-on parts projecting
from the machine.
3. Slide movable fence halves tog-
ether and lock in place.
4. Slide table side extension back into
the saw table.
5. Lift machine by the carrying handle.

103° cutting angle range for mitre
cuts (47° left to 58° right) with nine
preset stops.
