2. Remove the table insert.
3. Put in a new table insert.
4. Tighten the table insert fixing
screws.
8.3 Drive belt tensioning
The drive belt (82), running on the right-
hand side of the sawhead behind a pla-
stic cover, needs to be re-tensioned if it
can be depressed more than 8 mm
halfway between the two pulleys.
To check, re-tension and change:
1. Remove screws (84) and take plastic
cover (83) off.
2. Check belt tension by thumb pressu-
re.
If the drive belt needs to be re-tensio-
ned or replaced:
Loosen all hexagon socket
screws of the motor mount by
approx. one turn.
Re-tension or replace the drive
belt. To tighten slide the motor to
the rear.
Tighten motor fastening screws
crosswise.
3. Replace the plastic cover (83) and
secure with the screw.
8.4 Adjustments
Fence adjustment
1. Snap the rotary table into the 0° po-
sition and lock it in place with the
lock screw.
2. Swing sawhead down and engage
transport locking pin with deep
groove.
3. If necessary, remove the chip bag
or disconnect the dust extractor
from the saw.
4. Lift the saw by the front legs, tip it
with the weight on the back legs
and carefully set it down on the
back legs and motor.
5. Loosen the screws on the underside
by two turns:
6. Place the saw back on its legs.
7. Align the rotary table with the fence
in such a way that the fence is ex-
actly at right angles to the saw bla-
de.
8. Re-tighten the screws on the under-
side.
Mitre angle indicator adjustment
1. Loosen screw (86) approx. one turn.
2. Adjust pointer (85) until the indica-
ted value corresponds with the cur-
rent stop position of the rotary table.
3. Tighten screw (86).
Bevel tilt positive stop adjustment
1. Snap the track arm holder into the
0° position, but do not tighten the
lock lever
(87).
2. Loosen the two socket cap screws
on the rear of the saw by approx.
one turn:
3. Adjust the track arm holder until the
saw blade is exactly 90° to the rota-
ry table.
4. Tighten the two socket cap screws on
the rear of the saw again.
5. Tighten lock lever (87).
6. Loosen the screws (88) approx. one
turn.
7. Adjust pointer (89) until the indica-
ted value corresponds with the cur-
rent stop position of the track arm
holder.
