The following table describes the commands for IGMP snooping VLAN.
24.5 IGMP Filtering Profile
An IGMP filtering profile specifies a range of multicast groups that clients connected to the OLT are
able to join. A profile contains a range of multicast IP addresses which you want clients to be able
to join. Profiles are assigned to ports by the igmp-filtering profile <name> command under
the interface port-channel command. Clients connected to those ports are then able to join the
multicast groups specified in the profile. Each port can be assigned a single profile. A profile can be
assigned to multiple ports.
Use the igmp-filtering command to enable and configure IGMP filtering and the show igmp-
filtering profile command to display its settings.
The following table describes the IGMP filtering profile commands.

COMMAND DESCRIPTION
show igmp-snooping vlan
Displays the VLANs on which IGMP snooping is enabled.
igmp-snooping vlan mode
<auto|fixed>
Specifies how the VLANs on which the OLT snoops IGMP packets
are selected.
auto: The OLT learns multicast group membership on any VLAN.
See the User’s Guide for the maximum number of VLANs the
switch supports for IGMP snooping. The OLT drops any IGMP
control messages on other VLANs after it reaches this maximum
number (auto mode).
fixed: The OLT only learns multicast group membership on
specified VLAN(s). The OLT drops any IGMP control messages for
any unspecified VLANs (fixed mode). See the User’s Guide for
the maximum number of VLANs the switch supports for IGMP
snooping.
igmp-snooping vlan <vlan-id>
[name <name>]
Specifies which VLANs to perform IGMP snooping on if the mode
is fixed. Optionally, sets a name for the multicast VLAN.
name: 1-32 printable characters; spaces are allowed if you put
the string in double quotation marks (“).
no igmp-snooping vlan <vlan-id>
Removes IGMP snooping configuration on the specified VLAN if
the mode is fixed.
