Configure MVR IP multicast group address(es) by the group command under mvr <vlan-id>.
Note: A port can belong to more than one multicast VLAN. However, IP multicast group
addresses in different multicast VLANs cannot overlap.
The following table describes the MVR group commands.
24.8.1 MVR Configuration Example
The following figure shows a network example where ports 1, 2 and 3 on the OLT belong to VLAN 1.
In addition, port 7 belongs to the multicast group with VID 200 to receive multicast traffic (the
News and Movie channels) from the remote streaming media server, S. Computers A, B and C in
VLAN 1 are able to receive the traffic.

COMMAND DESCRIPTION
show mvr <vlan-id>
Shows the detailed MVR status and MVR group configuration for
a VLAN.
mvr <vlan-id>
Enters config-mvr mode for the specified VLAN ID (1 to 4094).
Creates the MVR, if necessary.
group <name> start-address
<ip> end-address <ip>
Sets the multicast group range for the MVR.
name: 1-32 English keyboard characters
no group
Disables all MVR group settings.
no group <name-str>
Disables the specified MVR group setting.
