25.4 DHCP Snooping & DHCP VLAN Commands
Use the dhcp snooping commands to configure the DHCP snooping on the OLT and the dhcp vlan
commands to specify a DHCP VLAN on your network. DHCP snooping filters unauthorized DHCP
packets on the network and builds the binding table dynamically.
Note: You must set up a management IP address for each VLAN that you want to
configure DHCP settings for on the OLT.

Displays DHCP snooping database update statistics in full detail
form.
dhcp snooping
Enables DHCP Snooping on the OLT.

Disables DHCP Snooping on the OLT.
dhcp snooping database <tftp://
host/filename>
Specifies the location of the DHCP snooping database. The
location should be expressed like this: tftp://{domain name or IP
address}/directory, if applicable/file name; for example, tftp://
192.168.10.1/database.txt.
no dhcp snooping database
Removes the location of the DHCP snooping database.
dhcp snooping database timeout
<seconds>
Specifies how long (10-65535 seconds) the OLT tries to complete
a specific update in the DHCP snooping database before it gives
up.
no dhcp snooping database

Resets how long the OLT tries to complete a specific update in
the DHCP snooping database before it gives up to the default
value (300).
dhcp snooping database write-
delay <seconds>
Specifies how long (10-65535 seconds) the OLT waits to update
the DHCP snooping database the first time the current bindings
change after an update.

Resets how long the OLT waits to update the DHCP snooping
database the first time the current bindings change after an
update to the default value (300).

Specifies the VLAN IDs for VLANs you want to enable DHCP
snooping on.

Sets the OLT to add the system name to DHCP requests that it

specified, or VLAN.
