1.2 Front Panel

The following figure shows the OLT chassis with line cards, two management cards, two 10G uplink

cards, two power modules, and the fan module installed.

The following table describes the OLT slots, cards, and modules.

1.3 Management Card

The management card manages the OLT, and manages the services of the line cards. This card is

hot-swappable.

Fan module OFC2400 Controls and monitors the fans. This module is hot-swappable.

Power module OPA2400 DC power module outputs power to the backplane.

1~2 Management

card

OMC2400 Manage and monitor the system and centralize network traffic

supervision. With two management cards installed you can

keep one in standby as a backup. You can use either slot if

there is only one installed.

3~4 Uplink card OUL2420 10 Gb connection of the OLT to the backbone.

5~12 Fiber access line

card

OLC2404-22 Maximum eight GPON cards support up to 2048 PON

subscribers.

OLC2504-42 Maximum eight Gigabit Ethernet cards support up to 32 active

fiber devices such as chassis-based and standalone MDUs.
