39.6 ONT VENET Port Settings
Use the remote ontvenet command to create and configure a virtual Ethernet interface on a VEIP
card (a virtual Ethernet card on a router mode ONT). You can enable performance monitoring and
enable or disable the port. The following table describes the related commands.
39.7 ONT POTS Port Settings
Use the remote ontpots command to create and configure a VoIP interface on a VoIP (POTS) card
on an ONT such as ZyXEL’s PMG5323-B20A. The following table describes the related commands.

ONU. It must be created under a VEIP type ONT card. (The virtual Ethernet
interface represents the termination of the OLT-managed domain for a dual-
managed ONU, which is defined as two management domains within the same
physical device. See II.2, T-REC-G.988-201210-I!!PDF-E for more details).

G.984.4.
