protect-switch xe group <1|2>
activeport xe-<slot>-<port>
Changes the current active port in the specified uplink protection
group. Meaning it sets through which of the protection group’s
uplink ports the OLT forwards uplink traffic.
Note the “show protect-switch xe” command only shows
configuration, not current status.
Suppose you set xe-3-1 as the group’s active uplink port and xe-
3-2 as the backup uplink port, then use the command
“activeport xe-3-2”.
The “show protect-switch xe” command shows xe-3-1 as the
group’s active uplink port and xe-3-2 as the backup uplink port
but uplink traffic is sent to xe-3-2.

Turns on the specified uplink protection group.
protect-switch xe group <1|2>
xe-<slot>-<port> msc-<slot>-
<port>
Assigns the specified uplink protection group’s active and backup
uplink port members.
no protect-switch xe group
<1|2>
Deletes the specified uplink protection group configuration.
no protect-switch xe group
<1|2> accessport [ge-<slot>-
<port>] [...]
Removes the specified access port configuration from the
specified uplink protection group (or all of the protection group’s
access ports if you do not specify any).

Turns off the specified uplink protection group.

Removes all of the uplink protection groups.
