Conguring a RAID Set

Enter the Intel

legacyRAIDBIOSsetuputilitytocongureaRAIDarray.Skipthisstepandproceedwiththe

installationofWindowsoperatingsystemforanon-RAIDconguration.

Step 1:

In BIOS Setup, go to BIOS and set CSM Support to Enabled and Storage Boot Option Control to Legacy. Next,

go to Peripherals\SATAAndRSTConguration and make sure USE RST Legacy OROM is set to Enabled.

Save the changes and exit BIOS Setup. After the POST memory test begins and before the operating system

bootbegins,lookforamessagewhichsays"Press<Ctrl-I>toenterCongurationUtility"(Figure13).Press

<Ctrl>+<I>toentertheRAIDCongurationUtility.

Step 2:

After you press <Ctrl> + <I>, the MAIN MENUscreenwillappear(Figure14).

Create RAID Volume

IfyouwanttocreateaRAIDarray,selectCreate RAID Volume in MAIN MENU and press <Enter>.
