Hub Bearings (Wheel Bearings)
Hub Bearings Removal
Remove the wheel, and take out the f ollowing.
Collars
Grease Seals [A]
Circlips [B]
Coupling [C] (Out of Rear Hub)
Front Hub [D]
Rear Hub [E]
Special Tool - Inside Circlip Pliers: 57001-143
Use the bearing remover to remove the hub bearings [A].
CAUTION
Do not lay the wheel directly on the ground with
the disc facing down. This can damage or warp the
disc. Place blocks under the w heel so that the disc
does not touch the ground.

Bearing Remover Head,
20 × 22:
57001-1293 [C]
Hub Bearings Installation
Before installing the wheel bearings, blow any dirt or for-
eign particles out of the hub with compressed air to pre-
vent contamination of the bearings.
Replace the bearings with new ones.
NOTE
Install the bearings so that the marked side faces out.
Install the bearings by using a bearing driver.
First, press each right bearing [A] in until it bottoms out.
Special Tool - Bearing Driver Set: 57001-1129 [B]
Next, install the following:
New Circlip
Distance Collar
Left Bearing
