A.1 Heavy Duty and Normal Duty Ratings
The capacity of the drive is based on two types of load characteristics: Heavy Duty (HD) and Normal Duty (ND). The user
can select HD
or ND torque depending on the application. Fans, pumps, and blowers should use ND, while other applications
generally use HD.
Refer to Table A.1 for the differences between HD and ND.
