■ Stacking not functioning

Solution:

1. Check that modules are installed correctly

2. PLANET CB-STX50 or CB-STX200 cables not installed correctly (LEDs on front panel STX1 or STX2 do not light)

3. Check that the cables are inserted correctly

4. The stack cable is PLANET proprietary stack cable, the stack cable is cross-overed HDMI-like cable, the normal HDMI

cable can’t be used for the SGSW series.



While IP Address be changed or forgotten admin password –

To reset the IP address to the default IP Address “192.168.0.100” or reset the password to default value. Press the hardware

reset button at the front panel about 10 seconds. After the device is rebooted, you can login the management WEB interface

within the same subnet of 192.168.0.xx.

■ No Power Forward

Solution:

1. Make sure your PD device comply with IEEE 802.3af standard, the SGSW-24040P PoE switch only support the IEEE

802.3af compliant PD.

2. The POE switch uses the signal power pair to forward power, the data and the power is traverse the pin. Please, check

the documentation for your PD device to make sure the power pair it uses. The following table is the signal power pair

RJ-45 port pinout.
