Translation of the original instructions ADJUSTMENTS The steering levers are adjusted using the two lock nuts fig 12 The steering clutch consists of a perforated disc which is engaged by a lever when the lever is not in the hole there must be 0 3 mm clearance on the rod secured by the lock nut fig 13 How to adjust the steering Lift the machine from the ground Firmly tighten the two nuts fig 12 bold black arrow on the right hand side Start the engine put the gearbox on the first gear and engage the forward lever This way the rubber track does not turn therefore slowly unscrew the nuts fig 12 bold black arrow on the right hand side when the rubber track is in motion unscrew the nuts for one more revolution Adjust the brake there must be a 6 mm play fig 13 CAUTION when the rubber starts to move it can be dangerous Lubricate the shafts and the springs on the gearbox STEERING BRAKES AND LEVERS Please note this adjustment must be carried out by an authorized Grillo service centre Lift the machine from the ground and tighten the two self locking nuts completely please refer to fig 12 black arrows on the right hand side of the picture Now start the engine put the gearbox on the first gear and engage the feed lever the rubber tracks do not turn slowly unscrew the two self locking nuts fig 12 As soon as the tracks start moving unscrew the nuts for one more revolution Caution never touch the tracks whilst carrying out adjustments The brake rods must have a 6 mm clearance fig 14 push on the lever controlling the brake shoes until contact is made then adjust the nut TRACTION BELT STRETCHER Check that the clearance on the stretcher is sufficient to avoid pulling the belt into the stop position During work there must be traction on the stretcher spring Fig 15 END OF SEASON MAINTENANCE Wash the machine carefully and change the engine and gearbox oil If parts have been damaged during the working season now is the time to put things right Never keep the machine close to chemical fertilizers since some parts might rust MAINTENANCE SUMMARY TABLE PROCEDURE Engine oil EVERY 8 HOURS check the level AFTER 20 HOURS Air filter _ Spark plug replace check adjust Check the level replace Check that the engine intake grid is clean ONCEA YEAR OR EVERY 200 HOURS replace Gearbox oil EVERY 100 HOURS change check EVERY 50 HOURS recommended procedure procedure to be carried out if necessary 13
