The vibration emission level given in this information sheet
has been measured in accordance with a standardised test
given in EN 60745 and may be used to compare one tool with
another. It may be used for a preliminary assessment of expo-
sure.
The declared vibration emission level represents the main ap-
plications of the tool. However if the tool is used for different
applications, with different accessories or poorly maintained,
the vibration emission may differ. This may significantly in-
crease the exposure level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also
take into account the times when the tool is switched off or
when it is running but not actually doing the job. This may sig-
nificantly reduce the exposure level over the total working pe-
riod.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator
from the effects of vibration such as: maintain the tool and the
accessories, keep the hands warm, organisation of work pat-
terns.

Battery Charging
f Use only the battery chargers listed on the graphics
page. Only these battery chargers are matched to the lith-
ium ion battery used in your machine.
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full
capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in the
battery charger before using your power tool for the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without re-
ducing its service life. Interrupting the charging procedure
does not damage the battery.
The battery is equipped with a NTC temperature control
which allows charging only within a temperature range of be-
tween 0 °C and 45 °C. A long battery service life is achieved
in this manner.
Battery Charge-control Indication
The three green LEDs of the battery charge-control indicator
9 indicate the charge condition of the battery 6. For safety
reasons, it is only possible to check the status of the charge
condition when the machine is at a standstill.
To indicate the charge condition, press and hold button 8
of the switched off machine.
Removing the Battery (see figure A)
To remove the battery 6, press the unlocking buttons 7 and
pull the battery out of the machine to the rear. Do not ex-
ert any force.
Changing the Tool (see figures B1B2)
f The blade can become warm during operation. Before
removing, allow the blade to cool down.
Loosen knurled screw 1 and set blade guard 3 to the upper
position.
Rotate the blade 10 with a screwdriver until one of the
holes in the blade is free (uncovered).
Insert a thin, sturdy object (e.g., a nail) into the free hole,
to block the blade.
Unscrew the blade screw 11.
Remove the object with which you blocked the blade.
Slightly lift off the blade and pull it out towards the bottom.
Attach the new blade onto the tool holder ensuring that the
ground edge of the blade faces you.
Pay attention that the blade engages onto the tool holder.
Tighten the blade screw again.
Adjust blade guard 3 to the material thickness to be cut
and tighten knurled screw 1 again.
