EC1000 User Manual

Changing the Administrator Login

To change the default administrator username and password, do the following:

1. Click the User tab.

The User Management page has a detailed list of administrator and user

2. In the Administrator Information section, reset the name and password

fields to something unique, then click Save (at the bottom of the page.)

Note: If you forget the administrator’s name or password, short the mainboard

jumper to restore the default administrator account. See Administrator

As a security measure if a firewall is being used the administrator can specify the port numbers that the firewall will allow if a port other than the default is used users must specify the port number as part of the ip address when they login if an invalid port number or no port number is specified the ec1000 will not be found 45
If there is no firewall on an intranet for example it doesn t matter 45
Note 1 valid entries for all of the service ports are from 1 65535 45
