EC1000 User Manual

Setup

The Setup page allows administrators to configure and control overall EC1000

operations.

Device Configuration

This page provides information about the EC1000, as described in the

following sections:

General

Item Meaning

Energy Box Name This field lets you give the device a unique name. Simply delete

whatever is in the text box and key in the name of your choice.

Click Save (located at the bottom of the page) to save the new

name.

As a security measure if a firewall is being used the administrator can specify the port numbers that the firewall will allow if a port other than the default is used users must specify the port number as part of the ip address when they login if an invalid port number or no port number is specified the ec1000 will not be found 45
If there is no firewall on an intranet for example it doesn t matter 45
Note 1 valid entries for all of the service ports are from 1 65535 45
