8 REPEATER OPERATION— VOICE

■ Accessing a Digital repeater
DD
Setting from the application
qClick [MODE] to select DV (Digital voice) mode.
•“DV” appears.
wSet the desired receive frequency (repeater output frequency).
eClick [RP] several times to select the repeater mode.
• Select “RP–” or “RP+.”
rClick [CS] to display the Select Call Sign screen, then set
your call sign in “MY.”
• Click [Y]/[Z] to select the programmed your call sign.
• When your call sign is not programmed, enter your call sign into
the text box directly.
tSet the desired station call sign in “YOUR.”
• When sending a CQ
- Click [CQ] to displays “CQCQCQ” then click [OK].
• When calling the desired station
- Click [Z] to select the call sign.
• When the desired call sign is not programmed, enter the de-
sired call sign into the text box directly.
ySet the desired near-by repeater call sign in “RPT1” then
click [OK].
• Click [Z] to select the call sign.
• When the desired repeater call sign is not programmed, enter the
call sign into the text box directly.
• When linking repeaters via internet network (gateway connec-
tion), clicking [G] may be necessary depending on the repeater
system.
uClick “Enable” to display “✔,” then set the near-by repeater
call sign from the desired station in “RPT2” then click [OK],
if necessary.
• Click [Z] to select the call sign.
• When the desired repeater call sign is not programmed, enter the
call sign into the text box directly.
• When linking repeaters via internet network (gateway connec-
tion), clicking [G] may be necessary depending on the repeater
system.
Click if necessary. Click to shows “✔” and select/enter the
desired repeater call sign, if desired.
Select/enter the desired call sign
; or click to display “CQCQCQ” for CQ call.
Click if necessary.
