Set up the right oscillation speed only when the sander is working.
Oscillation speed with load may be lower than the speed set with
no load.
WORKING WITH FINISHING SANDER
• When operating, hold the nishing sander rmly with both hands by
the main handle (4) and the front handle (2).
• Whole sanding area must rest on the processed surface.
• Turn the sander on, apply moderate pressure and move it on the
processed material.
• When about to nish sanding, reduce pressure and lift the sander
above the processed surface and only then you can switch o the
tool.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the tool from power supply network before starting any
regulation, maintenance or repair.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• Cleaning the device after each use is recommended.
• Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning.
• Clean the device with a dry cloth or blow through with compressed
air at low pressure.
• Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents, since they may damage
plastic parts.
• Clean ventilation holes in the motor casing regularly to prevent
device overheating.
• In case of power cord damage replace it with a cord with the same
specication. Entrust the repair to a qualied specialist or return the
tool to a service point.
• In case of excessive commutator sparking, have the technical
condition of carbon brushes of the motor checked by a qualied
person.
• Always store the tool in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Immediately replace worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or
cracked motor carbon brushes. Always replace both carbon
brushes at a time.
Entrust replacement of carbon brushes only to a qualied person.
Use only original parts.
All defects should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the
manufacturer.

To precisely dene exposure to vibrations, include periods when
the device is switched o and when it is switched on but not used
for working. Once all factors have been carefully considered, total
exposition to vibrations may be signicantly lower.
To protect the user from results of exposure to vibrations, use additional
safety measures such as: device and working tool periodic maintenance,
proper hand temperature conditions, good work organisation.

Electrical equipment must not be disposed o with household
waste and, instead, should be utilized at appropriate facilities.
Information on utilization can be provided by the product vendor
or the local authorities. Waste electrical and electronic equipment

DETAILLIERTE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Beim Schleifen von Holz- und Metalloberächen, die beispielsweise
mit den bleihaltigen Farben beschichtet werden, können schädliche/
toxische Stäube entstehen. Durch den Kontakt oder das Einatmen
solcher Stäube kann die Gesundheit des Bedieners oder Dritter
gefährdet werden. Folgende persönliche Schutzausrüstung ist zu
verwenden: Halbltermasken, Schutzbrillen. Die Staubabzugsanlage
ist anzuschließen.
VOR DEM BETRIEB DES SCHLEIFERS
• Der Schleifer ist beim Betrieb fest, mit beiden Händen zu halten.
• Prüfen Sie vor dem Einschalten des Schleifers, ob sie mit dem
Schleifpapier den zu bearbeitenden Sto nicht berührt.
• Vor dem Einschalten des Schleifers überprüfen Sie, dass
das Schleifpapier sicher befestigt ist und die Hebel der
Schleifpapieraufnahme in der Stellung sind, in der das Schleifpapier
geklemmt wird.
• Berühren Sie keine beweglichen Teile des Schleifers.
• Legen Sie den Schleifer nach dem Ausschalten erst ab, wenn seine
beweglichen Teile völlig zum Stillstand gekommen sind.
• Falls beim Schleifen Staub entsteht, tragen Sie die Schutzmaske.
Der Staub, der beim Schleifen von den mit bleihaltigen Farben
beschichteten Oberächen, manchen Holz- und Metallarten entsteht,
ist gesundheitsschädlich.
• Schwangere Frauen sowie Kinder sollten den Raum, in dem mit dem
Schleifer die bleihaltige Farbe entfernt wird, nicht betreten.
• Im Raum, in dem mit dem Schleifer die bleihaltige Farbe entfernt
wird, darf nicht gegessen, getrunken oder geraucht werden.
• Setzen Sie keine langen Verlängerungskabel ein.
