Chapter 8. Setup

Cascade

The Cascade page allows you to manage and cascade eco PDU in your

installation.

Adding a PDU

To add a cascade PDU, do the following:

1. Click Add Device. A dialog box similar to the one below appears:

2. Specify the ID, IP address, username, and password in the dialog box, then

click Add.

3. (Optional) You may test the connection between to cascade eco PDU

before you click Add.

As a security measure if a firewall is being used the administrator can specify the port numbers that the firewall will allow if a port other than the default is used users must specify the port number as part of the ip address when logging in if an invalid port number or no port number is specified the eco pdu will not be found 62
