SOURCE-URL Specifies the source URL for the source file to be copied.

The URL has two forms. One of them is represented by keyword. For the second

form, it is prefixed by media. The acceptable media are flash:\, cf1:\, etc.

Flash:\ refer to system internal on-board FLASH memory

cf1:\ represents the first opened slot compact FLASH memory.

The URL consists of from 1 to 95 characters. The syntax can use alphanumeric

and special characters, but that does not allow space and (_/:*?"<>|_)

characters.

The source can be either local or remote. For download purpose, the source is in

remote server. For upload purpose, the source is located locally.

As running-config is specified as SOURCE-URL, the purpose is to upload the

running configuration or save the running-configuration as startup configuration.

As system-log is specified as SOURCE-URL, the system log can be retrieved to

TFTP/FTP/SFTP server.

DESTINATION-URL Specifies the destination URL for the copied file.

apply a configuration to the running configuration.

When startup-config is specified as DESTINATION-URL, the purpose is to

apply a configuration to the next-boot configuration. That is to keep the current

configuration into NVRAM and the file name will be same as the file name

specified with boot config command.

IP-ADDRESS\ the IP address of TFTP/FTP/SFTP server.

IPv6-ADDRESS\ The IPv6 address of TFTP/FTP/SFTP server.

USER-NAME The user name on the FTP/SFTP server. The default user name is "anonymous"

if user logs in to a server without specific user name.

PASSWORD The password for the user account.

TCP-PORT (Optional) TCP port number for FTP/SFTP server.

DIRECTORY\ The directory name of the source or destination file in TFTP server.
