graceful-restart recovery timer

Use the graceful-restart recovery timer in MPLS LDP configuration mode to

set the LDP Restart Recovery Time. Use no from this command to reset this

timer to default value.

graceful-restart recovery timer <MILLISECONDS>

no graceful-restart recovery timer

Syntax

Default 300000 milliseconds.

Command Mode MPLS LDP configuration mode.

Usage Guideline If LDP Graceful Restart is enabled and a LDP session re-established, the device

shall complete the exchange of the label mapping information with its neighbor

within the Recovery Time. After the Recovery Timer expired, the device shall

delete all label forwarding entries that are marked stale.

Example This example shows how to configure the Recovery Time to 500000

milliseconds.

You can verify your settings by entering the show mpls ldp parameter

command.

Syntax Description

MILLISECONDS The recovery time. The range is 12000-600000 milliseconds. The granularity is

10 milliseconds.

Switch(config)# mpls label protocol ldp
