802.1p

Use the drop-down menu to select the 802.1p priority of the packet.

IP Protocol

Specify the L3 protocol value.

Click the Apply button to accept the changes made.

Click the <<Back button to discard the changes made and return to the previous page.

Layer 2 Protocol Tunneling Settings

This window is used to configure Layer 2 protocol tunneling settings.

To view the following window, click L2 Features > Layer 2 Protocol tunneling Settings, as show below:

The fields that can be configured are described below:

Parameter Description

Layer 2 Protocol

Tunneling State

Click to enable or disable the Layer 2 protocol tunneling state.

Tunneled Protocol

Use the drop-down menus to select tunneled protocols to be configured.

STP – Specify the BPDU received on the UNI that will be tunneled to the specified

MAC address.

GVRP – Specify that the GVRP PDU received on the UNI that will be tunneled to the

specified MAC address.

01-00-0C-CC-CC-CC – Specify another vendor’s PDU received on the UNI that will

be tunneled to the specified MAC address.

01-00-0C-CC-CC-CD – Specify another vendor’s PDU received on the UNI that will

be tunneled to the specified MAC address.

MAC Address

Specify the MAC address that the selected protocol will be tunneled to. Tick the

Default check box to use the default tunneling address.

Unit

Select the unit you want to configure.

From Port / To Port

Use the drop-down menus to select a range of ports to use in the configuration.

Type

Specify the type of the ports.

UNI – Specify the ports as UNI ports.

NNI – Specify the ports as NNI ports.
