3.2 Checking the Temperature Sensors

If the cause of the problem is related to the temperature sensors, the sensors should be checked prior

to changing the controller or an output device.

EUWY*5-24KZW1

If the cause of the problem is related to the temperature sensors, the sensors should be checked prior

to changing the PCB or an output device.

■ The following sensors of the EUWAC5-10FZW1 are connected to the controller: R3T/ R4T.

■ The following sensors of the EUWA*5-24KZW1 and EUWY*5-24KZW1 are connected to the I/O

PCB: R3T/ R4T and R6T/R7T/R8T.

How to check To check the temperature sensors, proceed as follows:

Step Action

■ Disconnect the sensor from the terminal connections for EUWAC5-10FZW1.

■ Disconnect the sensor from the I/O PCB for EUWA*5-24KZW1 and EUWY*5-24KZW1.

2 Measure the temperature and the resistance value.

3 Check whether the measured values correspond with the values in the appropriate table:

"Controller Sensors: R3T and R4T for EUWAC*5-10FZW1" on page 3–19.
