4. Charge coil resistance
• Disconnect the charge coil coupler from the
installation.
• Connect the pocket tester(Ωx1) on the
charge coils.
• Measure the resistances of the charge coil.
SATISFIES THE
SPECIFIED VALUE
5. Connections
Check the connections throughout the igni-
tion system.
Consult the “ELECTRICAL DIAGRAM” sec-
tion.
Cable (+) of the tester
White cable
Cable (–) of tester
Yellow/Red Cable
Charge coil resistance:
0,288 ~ 0.432 Ω at 20 °C (68 °F)
GOOD
Change the rectifier/regulator
OUTSIDE SPECIFIED VALUE
The charge coil is defective, change
BAD CONNECTION
Correct.
