GENERAL OVERHAUL OF
THE ENGINE
REMOVAL OF ENGINE
REAR BODYWORK AND FOOTREST
1. Remove:
• Side covers (left and right)
• Rear cover
• Footrest panel See section in chapter 3
“REAR BODYWORK AND FOOTREST”
CARBURETTOR
1. Remove:
• Air filter box assembly
2. Disconnect:
• Autochoke wire
• Trhottle cable
3. Remove:
• Oil discharge tube
• Fuel supply tube
• Carburettor
SILENCER ASSEMBLY
1. Remove:
• Silencer assembly
• Ventilator cover
2. Loosen:
• Rear axle nut
NOTE:
When the rear wheel axle nut is loosened,
apply the rear brake.
