Automatic flushing (factory setting: not activated)
Automatic flushing serves to ensure water hygiene in the event
of long-term non-utilisation of the fitting and activates water
flow for 1 - 10 minutes, 1 or 3 days after the last use.
Safety notes:
- Ensure free draining in the case of activated automatic
flushing.
- For automatic flushing of the hot and cold water lines, the
fitting must be in the mixed water setting.
Cleaning
For cleaning purposes, the fitting can be switched off by
attaching the enclosed cleaning clip (J), see Fig. [8].
Maintenance
Shut off the hot and cold water supplies and switch off the
voltage supply.
Inspect, clean and, if necessary, replace parts.
I. Transformer
1. Interrupt the voltage supply via transformer (E), see Fig. [9]
2. Detach plug-in connector (D).
Assemble in reverse order.
II. Solenoid valve (12 V DC)
1. Remove screw (K) and detach housing (L), see Fig. [10].
2. Remove screws (O1) and detach retaining plate (O).
3. Detach plug-in connection (P) and remove solenoid
valve (R) by turning clockwise using a 5mm allen key,
see Fig. [11].
4. Remove filter (T).
Install in the reverse order observing the installation position.
III. Filter
1. Unscrew connection hose and remove adapter (C),
see Fig. [12].
2. Remove filter (B).
Assemble in reverse order.
IV. Remove mousseur (13 220) using a spanner and clean
Assemble in reverse order.
V. Mixer spindle
1. Disconnect fitting from connections.
2. Remove fitting from wash basin. Disassembly is as
described in section "Setting the temperature limiter",
see Figs. [6] and [7].
3. Remove screw (U) from housing using a 2.5mm allen key,
see Fig. [13].
4. Pull out mixer spindle (H).
Assemble in reverse order.
Screw (U) must engage in groove (H1) of mixer
spindle (H).
Replacement parts, see fold-out page I (* = special
accessories).
Care
For directions on the care of this fitting, please refer to the
accompanying Care Instructions.
Fault/ Cause/ Remedy
Fault Cause Remedy
Water not flowing Water supply interrupted
Filter upstream of solenoid valve blocked
Solenoid valve defective
Plug-in connector of solenoid valve
without contact
•No voltage
Hands not in reception range
- Open shut-off valves, service valves
- Clean, see “Solenoid valve maintenance”
- Replace, see “Solenoid valve maintenance”
- Attach plug-in connector
- Switch on power supply, check plug-in connectors
- Hold hands directly under the spout
Water flows
continuously
Solenoid valve defective - Replace, see “Solenoid valve maintenance”
Undesired water flow Sensor system detection zone set too
high for local conditions
- Reduce range using remote control (special
accessory, Prod. no.: 36 206)
Flow rate too low Filter or mousseur dirty
Service valves not fully open
Water supply restricted
- Replace, see Maintenance, Filter and Mousseur
- Fully open shut-off valves, service valves
- Check supply lines, open service valves
Incorrect mixed
temperature
See “Flow rate too low”
Limescale on mixer spindle
Temperature limiter incorrectly set
- Clean, see Maintenance, Mixer spindle
- Adjust, see description
