Windows Domain/Workgroup Setup
It is up to the system administrator, whether to open the
NAS for access by Windows clients. Select Enable Windows
networking if you want to allow Windows clients, and then
select a Work group or Domain for the server.
If you choose a workgroup, you only have to select the
workgroup in the
Storage Manager
.
If you choose to add the NAS server to a Windows domain,
you need to add the NAS server account to the PDC, i.e. a
Windows NT/2000 Server, and then enter the Windows domain
information in the Network Setup
Windows Domain page of
Storage Manager.
Settings on Windows NT PDC
From the Start menu, select ProgramsAdministrative Tools, then
Server Manager.
Open the Server Manager and select ComputerAdd to Domain.
