CC2000 User Manual

Database Migration Utility
The Database Migration Utility is a utility to help you migrate the database of
CC2000 v2.8 to CC2000 v3.2 or later versions.
The utility is a pure Java utility and can be used on Windows and Linux
systems.
The utility will export the database of the current CC2000 v2.8 as a backup file
that is compatible with CC2000 v3.2 or later versions.
Before you begin
Make sure the CC2000 server you are trying migrate from is version 2.8.271
(or later). If not, download the upgrade file from the “CC2000” product page
on the ATEN website and install it.
Make sure the CC2000 server you are trying to migrate to is version 3.2.312
(or later). If not, download the upgrade file from the “CC2000 3.0” product
page on the ATEN website and install it.
Migrating the Database
Follow the procedures below to migrate the database:
1. On the computer running the CC2000 v2.8, download the DB Migration
Utility installer from the “CC2000 3.0” product page on the ATEN
website.
2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
