6.3 ADMIN. MANAGEMENT
From the "ADMIN. MANAGEMENT" menu, various parameters for
controlling the use of the machine can be specified. In order to specify
settings for the ADMIN. MANAGEMENT parameters, the administrator
access code must be entered.
Item 4 and the "LINE MONITOR" parameter in item 8 are described in this
manual. For details on the other menu parameters for item 5 and for the
menu parameters for item 6, refer to "Selecting and checking initial settings"
on page 2-19. For details on the menu parameters for items 1 through 3, refer
to the user manual of the copier.

Reminder
The administrator should be sure to keep the administrator access code
in a safe place.
"ADMIN. MANAGEMENT" menu items
No. ADMIN. MANAGEMENT Description
1 ADMINISTRATOR NO. This parameter can be used to change the currently speci-
fied administrator access code to a different number.
2 AUTO SHUT OFF This parameter can be used to select whether ("ENABLE")
or not ("DISABLE") the "AUTO SHUT OFF" parameter in the
"MACHINE SETTING" menu can be set to "OFF".
• The manufacturer’s default setting is "ENABLE".
3 ACCOUNT TRACK The parameters on this menu can be used to specify set-
tings to manage the accounts. A maximum of 50 accounts
can be managed.
• Enabling/disabling account management
• Registering account numbers
• Changing/deleting account numbers
• Displaying/clearing total counters for each account
• Clearing all total counters
4 REMOTE MONITOR This parameter can be used to select whether or not the ma-
chine can be accessed and the status of the machine can be
checked from the service center (remote monitoring).
• The manufacturer’s default setting is "LIMITED".
• For details, consult with your service representative.
