Placing the document on the original glass

1 Press the [Fax] key.

The machine enters Fax mode, and

the Fax mode screen appears.

2 Lift open the document feeder, and then place the document on the

original glass with the side to be scanned facing down.

– Align the document on the scales above and to the left of the

original glass.

3 Close the document feeder.
