"Mono", "LMHLMH", "LLMMHH" or "LHLHLH"
Configuration defines the general operating mode for the FDS-366T; either
Mono, Dual/Stereo 2-Way or Stereo 3-way. The rotary encoder is used to
select the desired configuration.
"Mono" mode assigns all outputs from input A.
Stereo "LMHLMH" mode routes input A to outputs 1, 2 & 3 and input B
to outputs 4, 5 & 6.
Stereo "LLMMHH" mode routes input A to outputs 1, 3 & 5 and input B
to outputs 2, 4 & 6. (Similar to the FDS-355)
Three way "LHLHLH" will route inputs A, B & C to 1&2, 3&4, and 5&6
respectively to drive three 2-way speakers. e.g left, centre, right or 3 bi-
amped monitors.
"On" or "Off"
This mode selects whether parameters will be adjusted together, or
independently on each stereo pair of channels.
Turning the rotary encoder clockwise selects Stereo Link "On", and
anticlockwise selects "Off".
If a MONO configuration is chosen then this parameter is set to "Off" and is
unchangeable.
"A+B Post EQ", "A+B+C Post", "A+B Pre EQ" or "A+B+C Pre"
Determines what signals are mixed together for the Sum channel. The mono
sum is often used for sub-bass drive and can be derived from either inputs A&B
or A, B & C (useful for LCR systems particularly).
The sum options are:
A+B Post EQ
Input A plus Input B (with 6dB of attenuation), with input equalisation.
A+B+C Post EQ
Input A plus Input B plus input C (with 9.5dB of attenuation), with input
equalisation.
A+B Pre EQ
Input A plus Input B (with 6dB of attenuation), without input
equalisation.
A+B+C Pre EQ
Input A plus Input B plus input C (with 9.5dB of attenuation), without
input equalisation.
When selecting the signal source in the Output channels, it is this sum which
becomes one of the source options.
