To store a program as an 'Owner' program, the unit must be in Owner Lock
setup mode when the program is stored, otherwise the stored program will not
be identified as an Owner program in the program list. So as soon as the last
set of locks have been applied and STORE/ENTER has been pressed to confirm
the selection press STORE again and save the program.
Further locked parameters can be set up by first turning Owner Lock from
"Active" to "Off" in the Utilities. To do this follow the procedure as above for
entering the password and type in the user password, this time upon pressing
ENTER you will be returned to the Utilities and the Owner Lock will now be
"Off". Switch the Owner Lock back into set up mode by restarting the process
as before, now using the default password. This time your previously locked
parameters will still have the locked icons next to them and you can either
change these settings or add new locks to further parameters.
In the RECALL and STORE screens the padlock symbol will be displayed next
to any program that has had Owner locks applied to it. If the program is also
locked the key symbol will not be shown unless you attempt to store over the
program. In this case the "Program Locked!" warning will be shown and the
cursor will move to the padlock icon. Turning this off with the navipad 'v' key
will reveal the key symbol, turn this off too in oder to store an edit over the
existing program.
! The Owner locks can only be changed by someone who knows the Owner
Lock password. BE WARNED THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO UNLOCK A
PROGRAM WHERE THE PASSWORD HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN.
