3.6 Image Density
Pressing the Exposure Control Keys can adjust the image
density level of copies either in the Auto Exposure Mode, Manual
Exposure Mode, or Photo Mode. Select the appropriate mode according
to your particular needs.
Auto Exposure Mode
The copier reads the image density of the original and automatically
adjusts the exposure level for the optimum copy image density.
1 Press the Auto Exposure Mode Key
as necessary to light upthe Auto
Exposure Indicator .
Each time the Auto Exposure Mode
Key is pressed, the Auto
Exposure Mode, Manual Exposure
ModeandPhotoMode are selected
alternately.
Useful Tips
The exposure level in the Auto Exposure Mode can be varied by using
the User’s Choice, either “Darker” or “Lighter”, see page 4-7.
The copier has been factory-set to automatically select the Auto
ExposureMode.TheUser’sChoicecanbeusedtochangethisdefault
setting to the Manual Exposure Mode, see page 4-7.
