Open circuit in the Yellow/
Red wire.
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Check the injector coupler for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then measure the injector resistance.
Disconnect the TP sensor/injector coupler and measure
the resistance between lead wires.
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Measure the injector voltage between Y/R wire and
ground.
Injector voltage: Battery voltage
(Y/R – Ground)
09900-25008: Multi circuit tester
Tester knob indication: Voltage ( )
Replace the ECM with a new one,
and inspect it again.
Injector resistance: 12 – 18 at 20˚C (68˚F)
Injector continuity: ∞Ω (Infinity)
(Y/R – Ground)
09900-25008: Multi circuit tester
Tester knob indication: Resistance ()
If OK, then check the continuity between Y/R wire
and ground.
No.1 : Y/R – Gr/W
No. 2 : Y/R – Gr/B
( )
Replace the injector with
a new one. ( 4-67)
NOTE:
Injector voltage can be detected only 3 seconds after
ignition switch is turned ON.
Gr/W, Gr/B or Y/R wire open or shorted to ground, or poor ,
or connection. ( 4-22)
If wire and connection are OK, intermittent trouble or faulty
ECM.
Recheck each terminal and wire harness for open circuit and
poor connection. ( 4-5)
