Inverter PC board takes the position signal from UVWN line connected between the inverter and
compressor, and detects the position signal pattern.

Decision
Conditions
The position signal with 3 times cycle as imposed frequency is detected when compressor
motor operates normally, but 2 times cycle when compressor motor locks. When the position
signal in 2 times cycle is detected.

Compressor lock
High differential pressure (0.5MPa or more)
Incorrect UVWN wiring
Faulty inverter PC board
Stop valve is left in closed.
Troubleshooting
Check the installation
conditions.
Is the stop valve open?
Is the UVWN wiring
normal?
Is high
differential pressure
starting? (0.5MPa
or more)
Check and see
whether compressor is
short-circuited or
ground.
Are inverter
output voltages the same
for 3 phases?
Does low or
high pressure vary
even instantaneously when
restarting
compressor?
Be sure to turn off power switch before connect or disconnect connector,
or parts damage may be occurred.
