9) Inspection of Vapor Separator

1. Check needle valve for bend and wear. Replace if

necessary.

2. Check float for deformation. Replace if necessary.

3. Check filter for dirt and clogging. Clean if necessary.

5. Check float drop a as shown.

6. Check float height b as shown. Replace float or needle

valve if the height is out of the specified range.

Float Height b :

20.0 to 23.0 mm ( 0.787 to 0.906 in )

Float Drop (Reference) a :

30.0 mm ( 1.181 in )

Do not press needle valve with float.

4. Reinstall needle valve, float and float pin, and check that the

parts moves smoothly.
