41) Inspection of Recoil Starter

1. Check ratchet, starter lock and all springs. Replace if any

deformation, wear or damage is found.

2. Check reel and starter case. Replace if any crack or damage

is found.

3. Check starter rope. Replace if any wear, unraveling or

damage is found.

It is not necessary to remove starter spring from

starter case if it is not necessary to replace it.

Starter spring can be inspected without

removing from starter case.
