CARB COASTING ENRICHER CARBURETION COASTING ENRICHER This model is equipped with an afterburning protection device coasting enricher Afterburning internal is a phenomenon combustion engine If typical throttle of is the pre cipitously closed on an engine revolving at high speed a large amount of air mixed fuel spurts out of the pilot outlet P O resulting in incomplete burning in the combustion chamber Such unburned elements are expelled together with exhaust gases and build up in the exhaust pipe or muffler These elements accumulated to the point ignited of and being inflammable burned in contact gases of high temperature This phenomenon is refferred which is basically suddenly with to accompanied gets expelled afterburning with a loud explosive sound OPERATION OF ENRICHER In the illustration the air valve is pulled left by the negative pressure developed as the result of the sudden closing of the throttle valve Thus the enricher air passage is closed at the air valve seat and the air which flows into the pilot air passage is stopped enabling only the air from the slow air jet to flow into the pilot air passage This makes the air fuel mixture flow to the pilot outlet and bypass port now relatively richer H Nomal operation fB Closing the throttle at high engine revolution T Diaphragm 2 Spring 3 Rubber joint 4 Air valve 5 Vacuum from Secondary Carburetor 6 From main air jet 7 From enricher air jet 8 To pilot jet 4 1
